Jasper LeRoy Dunn, 84, of Rockford, passed away on January 28, 2011 in his home surrounded by his family. Born September 20, 1926 in St. Charles, AR, the son of Hershell and Clara Bell (Lacey) Dunn. He proudly served his country during WWII with the U. S. Army. He married Dorothy Stonecipher on April 29, 1950. He retired from Elco after 25+ years of employment. Member of 10th Street Church of Christ. Survived by his daughters, Patricia (Dewain) Jones and Bonnie Dunn; granddaughters, Melissa (Steven) Glover and Samantha Jones; great-grandsons, Drew Jones and Matthew Glover; brother, Robert Dunn and sister, Pauline Moss. Predeceased by his parents, wife, Dorothy; sister, Aliene; brothers, Richard and Herschel. Funeral services at 10 am on Thursday, February 3, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd.
