Jeanette Vera Bennett, 88, passed away Thursday December 8, 2011 at her home in Mesa, Arizona; born October 20, 1923 to Frank & Hazel Allen in Rockford, Illinois where she lived for 77 years before moving to Mesa, Arizona 11 years ago; graduated from Rockford East High School; married James May 24, 1946; continued as a home maker taking care of her family; Jeanette enjoyed reading, gaming, completing the circle word puzzles, and watching game shows on TV, but the visits from the grand children were treasured most; survived by brother Robert Allen of Rockford, Illinois, son Dennis(Patti) Bennett of Mesa, Arizona, daughter Judy Huffman of Machesney Park, Illinois and grand children, nieces, and nephews; predeceased by husband James, 1-sister, 1-brother, and son-in-law Dave Huffman; Private Services are being directed by Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8800 N.
