

Joseph Kohler, 81, of Roscoe, passed away on Friday, April 5. Born on March 20, 1932 in Calumet, MI, he was the son of Aloys and Paula (Trapp) Kohler. He married Pearl Hoke on April 19, 1953, in Kansas City, KS.
Joseph was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
A former employee of Yellow Freight, he retired from A & B Freight Lines. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.
An avid Green Bay Packers fan, he enjoyed fishing, playing golf, pitching horse shoes, wood working, gardening, camping, and most of all, spending time with his family.
His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Pearl Kohler; his sons, Jeff (Anne) Kohler, Mike Kohler, Mark (Laura), and Robert (Nancy) Kohler; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and a brother, Alfred Kohler.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Ernest Kohler.
