Kathleen "Kathy" M. Tubbesing

Kathleen “Kathy” M. Tubbesing, 66, of Rockford, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Presence Cor Mariae Center surrounded by loved ones. Born July 22, 1950 in Rockford, Kathy graduated from Guilford High School in 1968 and completed her bachelors degree at NIU. Kathy worked as a plant manager at Sundstrand for almost 30 years. She was an active member of Holy Family Church and was presented with the Catholic Caritas Woman of the Year Award, defining her selfless personality. She was an amazingly generous mom, friend and relative who will be missed dearly along with her contagious smile.

Survivors: children, Adam (Sara) Tubbesing, Amy (Jerry) Johns; grandsons, Christopher, Gage, Zachery, Dylan and Jonathon; sister, Laureen Snider; sister-in-law, Sheila Snider; brother-in-law, Chuck Brady; several loved nieces and nephews; very best friend, Linda. Predeceased by her parents, William C. and Erma (Verstraete) Snider; sister, Nancy Brady; brothers, Daniel Snider and Jimmy Foss.
