Larry was born on April 5, 1947in Corinth, MS. He married Sharon Leathers on May 20, 1978 and she preceded Larry in death on July 28, 2006. Larry worked for Sundstrand, was an Army Veteran and was an avid golfer. Larry was Past State President for the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Larry is survived by his sons Jason Wooley and Larry Wooley; stepchildren Scott Swinford and Trisha Stiefner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sharon.
A service to celebrate Larry’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 12, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park. Visitation for Larry will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after the funeral.
