Mabel A. Williams, 96, of Rockford went home to be with the Lord February 2, 2015 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born September 29, 1918 in Blytheville, AR; she was the daughter of Alexander and Sarah (Masters) Foreman. She married Myron Elvis Williams Sr. on November 5, 1932 in Blytheville, AR.
A former nurse’s aid, Mabel was a member of Faith Center.
She enjoyed going to church, reading her bible and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Albert (Nancy), James (Shirley), Ray (Veda), and Earl (Betty) Williams; daughters, Mary Duncan, Joyce (Bill) Jones, Fay (Robert) Nelson, and Brenda Williams; daughter-in-law, Molly Williams; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and numerous great, great-grandchildrent; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Mabel was predeceased by her parents, husband, son, Elvis J. Williams; daughter, Ilene Williams; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
