Mary Ann Meyers

Mary Ann Meyers, 60 passed away on Sunday April 24, 2016 at OSF Saint Anthony hospital due to a sudden illness. She was born on February, 15 1956 in Rockford IL. To Diamelli and Anna Mary Sola. Mary was a proud graduate of Boylan Central Catholic High School, she than attended Western Illinois University. Mary married Robert A. Meyers in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 13, 1979.

Mary worked for several companies including New York carpet world for 11 years, as the Regional office of education/ nuclear energy for 3 years, Fireside / JBW carpets for 10 years, and for Home Depot for 10 years.

Survivors include: son Benjamin Meyers and his wife Michelle of Sugar Grove Illinois, grandchildren; Katelyn Mary of Machesney Park Illinois, Leonardo Diamelli of Sugar Grove Illinois, Zion Amadeus Nikola of Sugar Grove Illinois, step grandchildren; Arianna Gabrielle of Sugar Grove Illinois, and Maya Michelle of Sugar Grove Illinois, brothers; Jim Sola and his wife Dawn of Rockford Illinois, Tom Sola and his wife Amy of northern Minnesota, and Dan Sola and his wife Judy of Rockford Illinois.

Mary Ann was also a beloved aunt to Dawn, Tiffy, Derek, Annalee, and Kaya. She was also a beloved stepmother to Tyler, Martha, and Stacey Meyers.

Mary Ann always went above and beyond to help others sacrificing what she could. She was passionate in reading, spending time with her precious grandchildren, caring for her dogs Maggie Mae and Tobby. She enjoyed crafts and decorating her home with beautiful flowers. Mary Ann impacted everyone in her life, she is loved and will be missed by many. A mother, wife, sister, grandmother, friend and beautiful spirit of light. Rest in perfect love … we love you!
