Melissa “Lissa” N. Corey, 62, of Roscoe, passed away on January 18, 2011 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. Born May 1, 1948 in Rockford, the daughter of Charles and Patricia (Ebert) Harvey. Lissa liked to do floral work and also enjoyed boating and swimming. She was employed as a Real Estate Agent and a Floral Designer. Survived by husband, Gary Corey of Roscoe; sons, Seth Corey and Jared (Nicole) Corey; brothers, Dave (Becky) Harvey and Brian (Rose Ann) Harvey; sister, Heidi Nystrom; mother-in-law, Dorothea Corey and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, grandparents and uncles. Memorial Service at 3 pm on Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park.
