Michael proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked many years as a machinist for CODA Manufacturing. Michael enjoyed going out to eat and shopping and was a fan of football, basketball and wrestling. He was a cat lover, taking care of the neighborhood cats and was a friendly, outgoing and caring person who will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his brother, Carl Seymour; special neighbor and “daughter” Rosario (Ramon) Lira; niece Melodie (Chris) De Blieck nephew Keith McConnell; great-niece Veronica (Tamarreo) Spear and great-nephew, Xavier De Blieck. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Al and James Seymour; sisters, Sandra Drassler, Nancy McConnell and Julie Seymour and nephews, Glenn and Brian McConnell.

Funeral services will be on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
