Nancy L. Reynolds

Nancy L. Reynolds, 74, of Henderson, Nevada, formerly of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away on February 17, 2022. She was born on October 15, 1947 in Dixon, Illinois to Clifford and Doris (Burrows) Johnson.

Nancy graduated from Dixon High School in 1965 and attended Rock Valley College, taking business management classes. She was a long time member of Riverside Community Church. On September 24, 1993, she married Michael D. Reynolds in Rockford, Illinois. Nancy worked in Personnel for 20 years for JC Penney, and also served on the Retail Advisory Board for the Abilities Center, was a Neighborhood Chairman for the Girl Scouts and was Vice President of the Loves Park/Machesney Park Chamber of Commerce.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Angela French of Rockford, Illinois and her grandchild, Jessica Rose (Timothy) of West Jordan, Utah. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Dexter Reynolds, in 1999.

A funeral for Nancy is scheduled for Friday, March 11 at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park IL 61115. A visitation will take place at 1pm until the time of service.
