Paulette E. Cunningham, 93, of Loves Park, IL, passed away, Friday evening, December 19, 2025. She was born August 29, 1932 in Ormesson, France, the daughter of Ralph and Marguerite Haas. Paulette came to the United States at 12 years old. She graduated from Stillman Valley High School. Paulette married Allen Cunningham on February 9, 1951 in Rockford. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and was a skilled seamstress. Paulette loved goldfinches and hummingbirds. She adored her Shitzus. Paulette was a spiritual woman, who prayed for many people. Paulette was a fiesty, little French woman with a kind soul. She was a spiritually, kind person to all those who needed her.
She is loved and missed by her daughter, Christy Knutson; daughter-in-laws, Jackie Cunningham and Kayla Cunningham; grandchildren, Amy Edwards and her daughter Brea Edwards, Maggie Edwards and her son Benjamin Otwell, Jr., Heather Palmer, Nick Cunningham and Kysa Boll; as well as numerous great-grandchildren; and best friend Linda Thurman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Allen, sons Michael and Jeffrey Cunningham and son-in-law Steve Knutson.
A private family service will take place.
