Phyllis P. Schick

Phyllis P. (Dockter) Schick, went home to meet her maker on the day of January 29th, 2026 at the age of 88. Phyllis was born in Medina, North Dakota on the 21st of September 1937, where she grew up working on a farm with her 10 siblings; Elaine, Arnie, Gerhard, Daniel, Mavis, Maynerd, Raymond, Donna, Marcus and Sandra. She graduated from high school and later married Udell Williams from Steeter, ND and moved to Rockford, IL. She raised 3 children and worked jobs in the service industry. Phyllis never sat down for long and was always on the move doing something for family, friends and employers. She was definitely a busy body. Her first marriage to Udell lasted about 20 years. She then married Alan Albers until his untimely death just a few later. Phyllis then went on to marry William Schick who passed away in 2014.

Phyllis was survived by her children, Jay (Rebecca) Williams and Todd Williams; grandchildren, Mark (Jeanine) Williams, Jr., Matthew (Jennifer) Williams, Miles (Aubrey) Williams, Brittany (Tommy) Pinkston, Jayson (Heather) Williams, Jessica (Zack) Tessier and Shannon Williams; great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Grace, Stella, Autumn, Makenzie, Caleb, Jaydon, Kash and Lyanna; siblings, Elaine, Gerhard, Daniel, Maynerd, Raymond, Donna, Marcus and Sandra; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Udell Williams, Al Albers and William Schick; son Mark Williams, grandson Steven Williams, siblings, Arnie and Mavis.
