Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Grantham, 60, of Machesney Park, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, surrounded by her family at Swedish American Hospital. Becky was born on October 16, 1963, to Robert Garst and Joyce Gray in Dixon, Illinois. She graduated from Winnebago High School before moving to Florida and meeting the love of her life, Emory Grantham. They were married on February 9, 1985, and recently celebrated 39 years of marriage. In 1990, she and her family moved back to Illinois.
Becky loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandbabies and her furry friend Sadie. She also enjoyed her time with the camping girls. When the weather permitted, you could find her sitting on her deck by the pool, often times with her mother Joyce.
She is survived by her husband, Emory Grantham; son, David Grantham; daughter, Cassi (Kyle) Grantham; mother, Joyce Gray; grandchildren, Maverick and McKenzie; siblings, Rocky (Lisa) Garst, Amanda Messenger, and Robert (Denise) Garst III; furry friends, Sadie and Oso.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Garst and brother, Robert “Louie” Garst.
