Rhona L. Carlon

Rhona L. Carlon was born in Winchester, IN on May 29, 1973. Graduated from Lakeland High School in LaGrange, IN and continued her education at Anthem College, receiving an Associate’s Degree. After graduating Rhona became a long time employee at Taylor Freezer. On March 2, 2012 Rhona married the love of her life John Carlon Jr. Rhona loved the arts, from dancing to various genres of music; her favorite band being Aerosmith. Cars, karaoke, movies, and riding motorcycles were also a passion of hers, but none as much as the passion she showed for her friends and family as they triumphed all.

Rhona was the beloved daughter of Richard and Johnalee; Loving wife of John Carlon Jr.; Cherished mother of Simpson, Shariah, Brenna; Step mother of John, Julianna, and Jimmy; Adored grandma of Hunter, Rhianen, California, Kayden, Cody, Xander, and Colten; Dear sister of Jennette Collins; Treasured daughter in law of Cindy and John Carlon Sr.; Cherished friend of Jay and Heather.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2019 from 1pm until the time of Service at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home (8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, Il 61115). Entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in the Chapel of Love. A luncheon will follow the entombment at White Eagle of Rockford (235 15th Ave, Rockford, IL 61104).
