I worked with Bob at Quality Metal for about 14 years. What a great guy. I don't think he ever had a bad day . He was always at the ready with a smile or a joke. He knew how to lift your spirits.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I grew up in Byron, went to school with all the Huls, and we lived as neighbors on the hill during my last couple years in Byron High school, graduating in 1973. I remember them as a great family, Mr Huls solid, Mrs. Huls smiling.

I grew up down the road from Bob and Pat in Byron. I remember babysitting for their kids. Will always remember Bob as a gentle man with a big heart. So glad to have known Bob and Pat and their family. God bless you all.

Dear Pam (and all the family,)

My memories of your dad are so vivid and so lovely. He was always kind and welcoming. He and your mom put up with a lot of craziness from us.

Both your parents are a fixture in my memories from our youth.

Prayers for peace at an already difficult time in these even more challenging times.

Much love,

Tom/Peg Bartscher

Sometimes we are lucky enough to have a neighbor that we feel became part of our family....That’s how we felt about both Bob and Pat.
Missing them both right now.
