She attended Lena high school, and Appleton Business college, and later married Robert Schuessler on September 22, 1945. She was a long time member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, senior groups, and the Cherry Vale Pacers.
Ruby is survived by her children, Alan (Jane) Schuessler, David (Jan) Schuessler, Ann Schuessler; grandchildren Miranda, Robert; siblings, Virginia Garrigan; and Robert Hansel.
Ruby is preceaded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters Estelle and Ella.

Funeral service will be 2pm January 4th, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Pastor Wendell Maynard will be officiating.
