

Stella M. Keaster, 84, of Machesney Park, passed away on September 9, 2011 in Franklin Grove Nursing Center. Born March 19, 1927 in Shook, MO, the daughter of Mack and Levora (Moss) Hicks. Married Eldon Keaster on October 15, 1945 in Poplar Bluff, MO. She worked several years at Clinton Electronics and then for Color Craft and retired as a machinist from National Detroit. She had a strong faith in God and was a member of Lincolnwood Baptist Church and Beverly Park Church. Stella loved flowers and butterflies and always had time for everyone. She touched many hearts and will be deeply missed. Survived by her 6 children, Garry (Lana) Keaster, Dan (Betty) Keaster, Judy (David) Keaster-DeShazo, Stephen Keaster, Keven (Roy Garcia) Keaster and Stan (Cathey) Keaster; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, Eldon; daughter, Charlotte (Stephen’s twin sister); 5 sisters, Willa G, Hattie B, Ruth, Nellie and Bernice. Funeral Services at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 6-8 pm on Monday, September 12, 2011.
