Susan L. Cooling

Susan was born on October 25, 1956 in Rockford, the daughter of Richard and Janet Schroeder Babcock. Susan was married to Tim Cooling. Susan was a member of Alpine Lutheran Church in Rockford; she was very active with The Overflowing Cup Total Life Center Ministries in Beloit, WI, and attended church in S. Beloit.

Susan is survived by her mother Janet Hill; brothers Tim Babcock and Jim Hill; sons Aaron Cooling and Jordon Babcock; daughter Andrea; husband Tim Cooling; grandchildren Jordon and Ricquel; several nieces and nephews and best friend Nancy Beard.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to The Overflowing Cup Total Life Center, P.O .Box 1075 in Beloit, WI. 53512.

Susan was preceded in death by her father Richard Babcock.

Visitation for Susan will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday February 9, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park. A service to celebrate Susan’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday February 10, 2014 at Alpine Lutheran Church 5001 Forest View Ave in Rockford with visitation from 9:30 until service time at the church. Burial will follow the services on Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
