Susan M. Kennedy, 44, of Loves Park passed away May 17, 2013 at home. She was born September 30, 1968 in San Antonio, TX to Gary and Cleo (Hansen) Smith. On June 22, 1991 she married Gerald Kennedy.
Susan enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her children and her granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald; her children, Danielle, Jessica, Amanda, David, and Mark; her granddaughter, Natalie; her parents, Gary and Cleo Smith; her siblings, Donald Smith, Cheryl Heikens, and Thomas Smith; and many other extended family members.
Memorial visitation will be from noon to 2pm on Saturday, May 25 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park. The memorial service will be at 2pm.
