Ted Davidson

Ted was born on February 14, 1940 in Orangeville, IL, the son of Donald E. and Ammie M. (Cole) Davidson. Ted married Luisa Mauricio on January 1, 1990. Ted was in the boy scouts and made Eagle Scout, he loved the outdoors and especially camping and fishing with his sons. Ted loved to read and listening to his favorite artist, Rod Stewart. Ted was a great uncle to all his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and he loved his mother Ammie dearly.

Ted is survived by his beloved wife Luisa; loving father to Christine (Pat) O’Connor; Chad (Julie) Davidson and Lewis (Ashley) Davidson; grandchildren Annie, Nathan and Ava; sister Kathy (John) Yasso; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; sisters-in-law Helen, Dee, Linda, Mary, Gloria, Terry and Dora; brothers-in-law Joe, Rudy, Paul, Rueben and Danny.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, sister Margie and brother David.

Memorial Mass to celebrate Ted’s life will be 11:00 am on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at St. Edwards Catholic Church 3004 11th St. in Rockford. Cremation rites have been accorded. Sunset Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
