Terry L. Kittle Sr., 70, of Rockford, passed away June 15, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family. Born May 5, 1945 in Rockford; he was the son of Owen R. and Betty (Wiley) Kittle Jr. He married Linda E. Ware on July 24, 1965 in Rockford.
A member and past president of United Auto Workers Local 803, Terry retired from GKN Rockford after 40 years of employment.
A die-hard fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, and Jeff Gordon; he enjoyed fishing, camping, mowing his and the neighbor’s lawn, wood working, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda E. Kittle; children, Lori (Michael) Ross and Terry Kittle Jr. (Michael Gray); granddaughters, Christina (Michael) Ross-Hilgart and Brianna Ross; sister, Vicky (Eddie) Ware; brother, Denny (Debbie) Kittle; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Pam and Mary.
