Valerie was a faithful member of Total Faith Community Church for 12 years. She was an intricate part of our leadership team as Board Chairperson of Total Faith CC, Chairperson Family Ministry, active in Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School, Praise Dance Ministry, Worship Ministry and church organizer for church picnics, game nights, back to school rallies, and our weekly praise and worship team. No job was too big or too small for Valerie. Her passion was family and empowering the youth of the church and community. “They are our future” was her frequent quote. Valerie joined the Pearls and Prayer Ministry, Inc. (under the leadership of Minister Sonya Kirkpatrick) in 2017. She faithfully traveled yearly to Orlando, FL ministering and serving at their annual workshop. She served on the Executive Board as Assistant Treasurer. She cheerfully praised and shared her love for God and life with everyone she met. Valerie's Pearls and Prayer sisters will forever miss her smile and dedication to God's work. Valerie graduated from West high school in Rockford in 1984. She continued her education at a regional college. Valerie was a 14 year employee of Scandroli Construction Company, serving as a Senior Project Coordinator.
