Virginia H Congdon, 88 of Rockford passed away on November 29, 2011 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford.
She was born September 25, 1923 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Henry and Bertha Gamber. Her Husband William Congdon, survives her.
Virginia is also survived by two sons; Donald D (Beverly) Congdon and Robert Carroll (Pam), her grandchildren; Amanda J. (Jason) Ziemann, Sean (Lauren) Congdon, Scott Carroll, Connie (Jamie) Kammerer, and her Step grandchildren; Mike (Lauren) McKinney, Danielle (Kurt) Dodge and Kristen (Mike) Dodge and 8 great grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Sunset memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, Sunset Funeral Home in Machesney Park are in charge of arrangements.
