Werner "Jack" Huber

Werner "Jack" Huber, 71, of Machesney Park, IL, formerly of Beaver Dam, WI, passed away peacefully, Saturday afternoon, November 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 18, 1954 in Fussen, Germany, the son of Max and Stephanie (Lang) Huber. Jack married Jackie Zemanek on November 22, 1975 in Chicago. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America as a troop leader for many years. Jack enjoyed fishing and camping, especially in Hayward, WI. Jack and Jackie enjoyed traveling to Branson, MO. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is loved and missed by his wife of 50 years, Jackie; children, Lisa Huber, Christina (Bill) Conroy and Jason (Amanda) Huber; six grandchildren, Ashley (Nick), Cody, Emily, Madison, Xavier and Alexandria; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Evelynn and Luciah; sister, Patricia (Thomas) Grieve; brother-in-law, James (Joanne) Zemanek; as well as numerous family members in Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2025 with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
