Willard "Will" L. Snider

Willard L. “Will” Snider, 70, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly, Saturday evening, December 17, 2022 at Swedish American Hospital. He was born September 1, 1952 in Rockford, the son of Edward and Iva (Martindale) Snider. Will was employed as an inspector at Elco Industries and finished his career at Tri-Parts. He was an accomplished athlete in his younger years, playing baseball and basketball. Will was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears and most recently, the Toronto Raptors. He was gifted at fixing all computers for family and friends. Will truly enjoyed going to the horse races and dog races. He was a loving man who will be missed.

Will is survived by his soul mate of 40 years, Mary Moore; children, Jeremy Snider, Anita (Tom) Schmidt, Rick (Jinger) Moore, Scott (Lori) Moore and Tim Moore; grandchildren, Cora Snider, Eric Meligan, Keith Meligan, Malisa Meligan, Rhianna Kalstrom and Jordan Moore and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Debbie) Snider; furry friend, Hershey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Paulie Meligan; and siblings, Clarence and Sharon.
