William A. Beidler

William A. Beidler, 51, Rockford, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born on April 13, 1958 to Kenneth and Joan (Breuer) Beidler. Married Krista J. Runde Leibold on September 9, 2000. Graduated from West High School in 1976. Employed at Gleason Cutting Tools for 20 years. Bill’s family was very important to him and his grandkids were the joy of his life. Bill loved fishing, woodworking, enjoyed traveling, and capturing memories on his digital camera. He was known for his unlimited generosity toward others. His generosity included his tissue and organ donation to the Gift of Hope Program. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Krista; children, Sara (Mike) Beidler, Jennifer (David) Sanders, Christopher Beidler; grandchildren, Allen, Drew, Matthew, Mayla, David, Brianna, Sean; father, Kenneth; sisters, Julie (Rafeal) Beidler-Pena, Catherine Beidler; nephew, Kelly Beidler; niece, Diandra Pena; and many friends. Also survived by in-laws; Melvin and Virginia Leibold and Bill’s extended family; Tom (Zelda) Leibold, Terry (Joan) Leibold, Kathy “Kat” Leibold, Tim (Laurie) Leibold, Karla Durgin and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by mother, Joan and brother-in-law, David Durgin.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, officiated by Rev. Ron C. Meyer. Visitation will be Tuesday Evening, March 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
