Willie Lee Johnson

Willie Lee Johnson, 95, of Machesney Park, IL passed away on October 20, 2022. She was born on September 8, 1927 in Jackson, TN to Harve and Fannie (Britt) Wallace. Willie worked for many years at the Mayflower restaurant. Family was extremely important to Willie and she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Willie is survived by her children, Lloyd (Donna) Johnson, Bill Johnson, Jim (Mary) Johnson, Linda Bade, and Brenda (Bob) Baxter; her 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Harold (Bev) Wallace and John Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Johnson; her son-in-law, Keith Bade; her sisters, Elizabeth Wright, Irene Wallace, Gloria Mayberry; and her brothers, Dennis and Jack Wallace.

Funeral Service for Willie will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL 61115. Burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the start of service.
