Albert Carrol Kunkle, 89, of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, August 18, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 1:00 PM at Thomaston Road Church of Christ, 5859 Thomaston Road, Macon, GA 31220, with the visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Minister Allan Hornbuckle will officiate the service.

Born in Gladewater, Texas, he was the son of the late Albert Carson Kunkle and Hazel Marie Comeaux Kunkle, and step mother Mozelle Cox Kunkle. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Rita Mitchell Kunkle, second wife Linda Carver Kunkle, and his sister Donna Kunkle Butts.
Mr. Kunkle earned his PhD of Chemistry at Texas A&M. He was retired from J.M. Huber as their Director of Research. He was a member and past elder of the Thomaston Road Church of Christ.
He is survived by his sons, David Kunkle (Valarie) and Steven Kunkle (Tracy), step daughters Rachel Keith (Ted) and Jackie Haas; grandchildren, Ashley and Bethany Kunkle, Justin Keith, Erica Lorenzana (Paul) and Eric Haas (Ashley); brothers, Gailard (Annette) and Bert (Anita) Kunkle.
