I’m so sorry to hear this heartbreaking news.  To know Cathy was to love her.  She radiated kindness and genuine compassion that made anyone around her feel important and loved.  Even throughout her own health battle, she maintained cheer and humor, and served others even in her last days.  She will always be a Christ like example to follow until we meet again. I’m so very sorry for your great loss.  She will be so very missed.

I am so saddened to learn of Cathy's passing. Cathy was a lovely, vibrant woman who smiled joyfully and laughed heartily. Cathy was my hairdresser for 40 years but she was also a dear friend. She loved the Lord and always had a positive outlook, even through hard times. She will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to Bob, the kids and the entire family. May God bring you comfort and peace through the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear about Cathy. We came across each other frequently in 2022. I dated her son John and she was very good to me even though I wasn’t very good to her or her family and I apologize for that deeply. 

My favorite memory with her is the first night we formally met. She picked me up in Carrollton. We went out to Texas Roadhouse then to the movies. We watched TopGun Maverick. We sat in the front row. Her and Mr Bob and John and I were there. That was the absolute best time. She drove all the way from Macon which was about a 4 hour drive and I really appreciate her and the entire family for welcoming me with open arms. 

You will be missed.

It has been few weeks since the last time we talked at work but it seems such a long time!! 
There aren’t enough words to describe how sad and  sorry I feel to think about not being able to see Cathy and share  our own positive spirit to each other!!
It’s such an honor to have a friend like Cathy and she’s always truly loved and deeply missed!!
May all her family and her loved ones be strong to go through this hardest time !!

Dearest Bob and family, 
Cathy means so very much to me! I am so sorry that we lost our Cathy, at least until we meet again!
Bob and family my heart and prayers are with you all.
What can be said to bring our hearts comfort? Nothing we can say besides I cry with you all at this time and will forever love and miss my dear friend!

Cathy was my dear friend and the best friend my hair has ever known. Words seem inadequate to describe Cathy. She was kind, she was caring, she was loving, she was self-sacrificing, her faith in God never wavered, and her courage and strength was inspiring. Despite any struggles she might be facing, she did not complain; she smiled and carried on. I'm sad to think I won't see her smile, hear her voice, see the sparkle in her eyes, hear her laugh, or feel her sweet hug. I'm comforted, however, in knowing I will see her again and that she is now free from pain, resting at peace, and sheltered safe within the arms of God. My dear sweet Cathy, I will miss you always.

Cathy was a great friend  and a marvelous person. We laughed, cried,  prayed and praised together like sisters.  Even in the midst of her battle it was easy to make her chuckle. Her family was the center of her life and her trust in God never wavered. She left quickly yet will not be forgotten.  Her desire to live has already been granted and  we will see her again…. Soon.

Such a sweet soul. I’ve only known and worked with Cathy a little over a year and when I first met her in the hallway she greeted me with a warm welcoming and every time I saw her it was always the same sweet spirit. She will be dearly missed. May her family and friends find comfort in this difficult time.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Cathy.  She was a loving mother who often helped out in Shabbat School, when I was Shabbat School Administrator.   To her son, John and her family, I pray that our Heavenly Father will cover you in His peace that surpasses all understanding, as you go through this tine of grief.

Cathy was one of the strongest women I have ever met. She kept her God first, then family and then friends. She was always available for each of us with a welcoming smile and open arms. Her last words to me were that she was moving “forward!” Her journey may not yet have ended as expected, but she did move  “forward” to the welcoming arms of her Lord and Savior. We love you, Cathy. Cathy blessed me with 43 years of unwavering love and friendship.  Over that span of time we saw each other through some of life’s most significant moments - births, deaths, graduations, and so much more. But through everything, what stands out is the strength, love, and laughter Cathy brought to EVERY moment and to EVERY person in her life. Cathy was a force of nature…she loved with all of her heart. She lived to serve others…that’s how she expressed her love and how she received her joy- because this is how she honored God. Her faith was her essence! I will miss Cathy every day for the rest of my life…I will miss the laughs, the ‘hey, just checking in’ phone calls, the words of calm when life was going sideways. She waged her battle against cancer with strength, grace, and humor…she truly fought the good fight. This earthly world will never be the same without my dear, sweet Cathy. I love you always. Paige

My condolences to Cathy's family. I pray for God's shalom over you, and I will be praying as you go through this difficult time. Cathy was a bright light in my life. She was so loving, gentle, and sweet. Though she had much on her plate and so lovingly took care of everyone, I never heard one complaint. She always had that beautiful smile, encouraging words, and a warm hug.  I had the privilege of sitting in her salon chair a month or so ago and getting to know her better. She shared the scripture she said God had given her, and it was the same one I live by, and to see we share names makes her even more special to me. I will miss her--we always looked for each other at synagogue. Thankfully, I spent some time with her on Mother's Day, and am grateful to God I had that opportunity! I will miss you, Darlin'. I love you!

Cathy spent her life lovingly caring for others: her parents, her husband, her children, her grandchildren,  her friends and her clients. She has definitely earned a special spot with our Heavenly Father. She is, and always will be, missed by those who were fortunate enough to be in that circle of people mentioned earlier. I was truly blessed to be in that circle.

Never a negative word came from Cathy's mouth. She sought the good in everyone. She was the type of friend that everyone wanted. I looked forward to my haircut visits to experience her love and caring spirit. You will be missed, dear friend. Pauline O'Mahony
