Christine Walker Joiner

Christine Walker Joiner, 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gene Joiner officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon 31210.

Christine was born in McRae, Georgia to the late Christopher “Buck” Columbus Walker and Minnie Lee Williams Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linton Eugene Joiner, and a son-in-law, CMSgt Royal B. Spellman. Christine was a member of Tattnall Square Baptist Church and a charter member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins. She was a homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Virginia Inez Copley (Fred), Barry Eugene Joiner (Wendy), Patricia Ann Spellman and Carolyn Joyce Bigwood (Doug); seven grandchildren, ten great –grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; half-brother, W.D. Warren and special friend, Sandra Burkhardt.
