Danny Padgett

Danny Padgett, 66, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Pine Pointe Hospice. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church with burial in Salem Methodist Church Cemetery, Juliette, Georgia. The family will meet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the Church.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Inez Webb Padgett and his brother, Dennis Padgett. He was a lifelong resident of Macon. He retired after 37 years as Director of Maintenance and Operation at Central Georgia Technical College. Danny loved all outdoors activities, including fishing and hunting but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Bellevue Baptist Church.

Survivors include those he loved most, his wife of 45 years, Linda Finney Padgett; his daughters, Candice (Clay) Baswell and Natalie (Geoffery) Thames; his precious grandchildren, Griffin Daniel and Ella Grace Thames, Riley and Carter Baswell; brothers, Doug Padgett and David (Vickie) Padgett; sister, Darlene (Jerry) Donald; several nieces and nephews and his beloved fur baby,Copper.
