

Deborah Elaine Stewart Wood, 64, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time.
Deborah was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Bennie Elmo Stewart and the late Elsie Mae Walton. She was a graduate of Margaret McEvoy Senior High School class of “1968”. After high school, Deborah started working for Bellsouth Phone Company and retired in 2002. Deborah was a member of Houston Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon and watching football she loved the Atlanta Falcons.
Deborah is survived by her two sons; Jeremy Blaine (Erin) Wood of Macon, Cale Adam (Billie) Wood of Kathleen, four sisters; Jean Ward (Lamar) Cobb of Pensacola, Jane Weidler of Andalusia, Molly Ann Stewart (Bubba) Hudson of Lizella, and Lynn Stewart of Macon, one grandchild, Cain Aaron Wood and several nieces and nephews.
