

Donald Brent Hitchcock, 31, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Atlanta, surrounded by his family. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 8, at 6 p.m. at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 9, at 12 noon in Rose Hill Cemetery, Macon. A procession will leave Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, at 11:40 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 163 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30308.
Brent was born in Macon, Georgia. He earned the Eagle Scout award. Brent graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He was self-employed as a General Contractor. He served in the Army National Guard for fourteen years where he achieved the rank of Sergeant. Brent deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan where he earned the Bronze Star with Valor. Brent was an active member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Hitchcock; his parents, Bill and Margaret Hitchcock; brothers, Brian, Blake and Benjamin; mother and father-in-law, Dick and Jenni Justmann; brother-in-law, Kevin (Kimberly) Justmann; sister-in-law, Sarah Justmann; and a loving extended family.
