

Donald Jackson Sapp, 67, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Pine Pointe Hospice. A celebration of his life will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, McRae. The Rev. Bobby Dumas will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sapp, son of the late Curtis Jackson Sapp and Ruby Powell Sapp Clark, was born in Ocilla and had lived in Macon a number of years. He was a mail handler retired from the U. S. Postal Service and served with the Army National Guard. Mr. Sapp enjoyed reading and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Gloria G. Sapp; stepchildren, Barbara (Phil) Guwin, Joseph (Cindy) McCranie and Wayne (Mary) McCranie, Jr.; nine step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; his sister, June (Ed) Gallagher and niece, Tracy (Johnny) Hatfield.
