

MACON – Dorothy “Dot” Davidson Moncrief, 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Grady Mimbs and the Rev. Marty Pearson officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue and suggests that memorial contributions be made to Parkway Baptist Church, 5049 Log Cabin Drive, Macon 31206.
Mrs. Moncrief, wife of the late Franklin J. Moncrief, was born in Macon the daughter of the late Louis and Lucille Brown Davidson. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Mrs. Moncrief was preceded in death by her daughter, Gayla Meeks.
Survivors include her daughters Patsy (Gavin) Ryals and Lynda (Lowell) Pritchard of Macon; her brother, Tommy (Jenny) Davidson of Byron; her grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Walters of Summerville, SC, Matthew (Amy) Ryals of Roberta, Marybeth (Shane) Lawson and Hannah Pritchard and Haleigh Pritchard, all of Macon; her great grandchildren, Bethany Meeks and Jack Walters of Summerville, SC and Riley Lawson of Macon.
