Obituary of Edith Bugg Graves
Edith B. Graves, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 29, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Vineville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Dr. William Richard Kremer officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Ave., Macon GA 31204. Edith was born in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Irvin B. and Mettie Milligan Bugg. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patti Anne Burns, sisters, Francis Bugg, Daisy Jones, brothers, Buddy Bugg and Charles Bugg. Edith was a member of Vineville Baptist Church, Joy Sunday School Class, served as the church Hostess and was retired as the Financial Secretary at the church. Edith worked as a court reporter for the Federal Grand Jury. She was a volunteer with the Salvation Army. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Kelly B. Graves of Macon, children, Kelly “Ben” (Diane) Graves of Colorado Springs, Keith (Lisa) Graves of St. Simons, and Andrea Graves Dominy of Macon. Grandchildren, Justin Burns, Kyle (Jennifer) Burns, Kanaan Dominy, Trent Dominy, Matthew Graves, Lane Burns, Travis (Alyssa) Graves, , great grandchildren, Robin Cheeley, Jaxon Burns, Gracelee Burns and Trevor Graves, son-in-law, Greg Burns, sisters, Betty Florida, brothers, Ernest Bugg and Fred Bugg, and several nieces and nephews.
