Frances Martin Asbury, 85, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Madison Street entrance. Dr. Tripp Martin will officiate. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM until service time the day of the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon 31204.
Ms. Asbury was born in Macon and was the daughter of the late Frances Martin Asbury and Wilkes Redmond Asbury. She was retired from Macy’s and was a member of Vineville Baptist Church.
Ms. Asbury is survived by her sister, Sarah Jane Baxter of Dunwody; nephew, Ed F. Baxter, Jr.; great-nieces & great-nephews, Melia Cooper, Ed F. Baxter, III, Frances Anne Baxter, and William Baxter.
