A celebration of life for Dell will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, followed by a visitation. Rev. Billy Beard will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to The Georgia Foundation for Public Education, www.gfpe.org
Dell was born in Eastman, Georgia and was a founding member of Central Baptist Church in Gray. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia in 1970. She was a retired teacher having taught in the Jones County School System, Bibb County and the Atlanta area.
Dell is survived by her children, Randy Sapp (Julie) of Dublin and Jennie Caldwell (Chris) of Forsyth; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Brody, Stella, and Liva Sapp and Maddie Barfield; siblings, Wanda Woodard (Brinson) and Stan Johns (Cissie); numerous nieces and nephews.
