Helen Underwood Kinard

Helen Underwood Kinard, of Macon, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, July 11 at 12 Noon at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, with Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery (North Gate).

Helen was born in Griffin, daughter of the late Lucille B. and John W. Underwood, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Kinard, Jr., her sister, Marion U. Ballard and her brother, John W. Underwood, Jr.

Helen was a wonderful mother and homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Sr. (Edna) and Joseph III (Tracy); grandchildren, David Jr. (Brigette), Lauren, Joseph IV, Tammy (Keith), Eddie (Wendy); five great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
