

She was a native of Macon, GA having moved to Lake Sinclair in 1996. Graduated from Miller High School in 1946 and attended Macon Hospital School of Nursing having attained her Registered Nurses Degree and employed by Macon Hospital 27 years. She was Supervisor of Obstetrics, Neuro Intensive Care and Primary Nurse to organize the Coronary Care Unit in 1967, on staff at Mercer University Infirmary until 1993.
A former member of First Presbyterian Church, Milledgeville, Ga having served as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Treasure of Presbyterian Women, facilitated Safe Haven for children. She started a Bridge group and enjoyed her time with her friends. Currently a member of Victory Baptist Church, Milledgeville, GA.
Her late husband Theodore M. Northington was married for over 35 years. Late son, Henry Grady Flynt III, (Hank), Late son Ted Keen Flynt.
Survivors include her daughter Cynde Sue Neal of Lexington, Kentucky, Partner Steve Goss of Lexington, KY. and Step daughter Marsha Kay Northington of Macon, Ga. Her grandchildren are Matthew Ian Neal, of Bowling Green, KY., Alison Flynt, Keene Flynt, Hillyer Pierce, all of Dahlonega, Ga., Kimberly Middlebrooks, of Milledgeville, Ga, and Grady Flynt of Milledgeville, Ga. She has 12 precious great grandchildren.
