Born in Monticello, Georgia, Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late Doyle McKinley and Robbie Rogers McKinley. A woman of grace, quiet strength, and steadfast faith, she was a charter member of Riverside Methodist Church. She devoted more than 25 years to teaching kindergarten at Northminster Presbyterian Church Day Care and Kindergarten, where her gentle spirit and boundless patience shaped the lives of countless children.
Above all, Jackie cherished her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert Edward Willis Sr., and her son, Robert Edward Willis Jr. (Cathy). Her greatest joy was found in her grandchildren, Amber and Christian Willis, whom she adored deeply. Their lives were brightened by her unwavering love, warm encouragement, and the timeless lessons she passed on with tenderness. She is also survived by her sister, Lynn Palermo, daughter-in-law, Dawn Willis; and several cherished nieces and nephews.
Jackie’s legacy lives on most beautifully in her grandchildren—their accomplishments, their character, and the love they carry forward as a reflection of the remarkable woman who helped guide them.
In honor of her lifelong compassion of animals, the family asks that donations be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
