James Foy English

MACON – James Foy English, 56, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will be private. Rev. Tommy Dobbins will officiate. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P O Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Mr. English was born in Dallas, Texas and was a former director of nutrition services at The Medical Center of Central Georgia. He was a United States Army veteran and was the son of the late Leslie Foy English.

Mr. English is survived by his wife, Karin English of Macon; children, Zach English of Brent, AL and Jason (Ryanne) English of Centerville, AL, Jessica (James) Strack of Waynesburg, VA, Jim (Samantha) Brooks of Vanetten, NY, Angela Brooks of Lexington, KY and Kimberly (Ryan) Augsburger of Warner Robins; 14 grandchildren; brother, Terry English of Brookwood, AL; mother, Frances Edwards of Macon.
