

Jason Jesse Brownlee, 62, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, with the Elder Michael Hataway and the Elder Garry Hall officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in Crystal Hill Cemetery, 321 Hannah’s Mill Road, Thomaston GA with the Elder John Forehand officiating.
Jason was born on September 30, 1963, to the late Andrew Wesley Brownlee. He was preceded in death by his stepbrother, Brian Dyar. He was employed by Kroger for forty-six years working in various areas of the store, last being produce manager on Forsyth Road. He was a member of Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church in Thomaston. Jason had a passion for outdoors, fishing, hunting, taking care of his animals, hiking and riding his motorcycle. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Brownlee, mother, Mary Nell Crawford Brownlee, children, Sage (Lance) Wallace, Mesa (Blake) Williamson, Cade (Emilee) Brownlee, Austin (Maddie) Meeks, Kalli Meeks, Skylar (Andrew) Brunswick, grandchildren, Sloane Brownlee, Vivian Williamson and Birdie Meeks, siblings, John (Jennifer) Brownlee, Beth (Hal) Kerkhoff, Stephen (Angel) Dyar, sister-in-law, Julie Dyar, stepmother, Grace Brownlee and several nieces and nephews.
