Jimmy "Jim" E. Barron, age 86, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Rev. Jon Brown will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service and asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's memory may be made to Methodist Home for Children & Youth or Martha Bowman United Methodist Church.
Mr. Barron was born in Gainesville, Georgia the son of the late Nettie Tidwell Barron and George T. Barron and was the widower of Edith "Ann" Barron. He was retired from Ivan Allen Company and was a member of Martha Bowman United Methodist Church. He was a long time member of the Elks Club and past president of Riverside Golf & Country Club. Mr. Barron was also an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan.
Mr. Barron is survived by his sons, Brett Barron (Dawn) of Macon and Scott Barron (Crystal) of St. Simons Island; grandchildren, Cole (Natalie), Wesley, Taylor (Laura Anne), and Zach Barron.
