Larry A. Payne

MACON - Larry Allen Payne, 72, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be private. He will be greatly missed and loved by all. He was very wise and always willing to do anything for everyone.

Mr. Payne was born in Edinburgh, Indiana to the late Doris Owens Payne and John E. Payne. He was a retired self-employed painting contractor. Mr. Payne was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Betty Jane Payne of Macon; son, Matthew Heyn of Macon; daughters, Rebecca Heyn (Dan) Harris of Musella and Tina Howard of Nashville, IN; eight grandchildren, Amberlynn Heath, Christine Day, David Jones, Matthew Clemons, Justin Hubbard, Hunter Harris, and Tara and Jason Howard; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Payne of Phoenix, Arizona.
