Margaret Wade Edwards

Margaret Wade Edwards, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with entombment in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. Chaplain Steve Womack will officiate. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Edwards, wife of the late Charlie Clarence Edwards, Jr., was a resident of Macon and was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Minnie Alice Harper Wade. She was the mother of the late David Randolph Edwards and Steve Ashley Edwards. Mrs. Edwards was of the Baptist Faith and was a devoted homemaker.

A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, she will be missed by those she loved most, her children, Gary Clarence Edwards, Michael Scott Edwards, Kathy Elaine Johnson, Daniel J. Edwards and Troy Wade Edwards; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
