Marie S. Nelson

Marie S. Nelson, 75, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Parkway Assembly of God. Burial will be in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joe Williams will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.

Mrs. Nelson was born in Dublin, Georgia the daughter of the late Ella Mae Peavey Smith and Jim Smith. She was preceded in death by a son, Clinton Nelson and a sister, Judy Harris. Mrs. Nelson was retired from Keebler Company and was a member of Parkway Assembly of God.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her daughter, Lara (Todd) Wright of Macon; son, Randy (Nancy) Beasley of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Justin (Elizabeth) Wright, Juliane Wright, Brooke (Matt) Hart, and Betsy (Tiffany) Beasley; brother, Carvis Smith; a number of nieces & nephews.
