Martha Jean Hayes Joiner

Martha Jean Hayes Joiner, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Danny Joiner and Rev. Dewain Joiner will officiate. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 PM on Saturday and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of Martha Jean to Retouch Ministries (Educating, Critical Feeding and Christian Discipleship to Children in Kenya.) Mrs. Joiner was born in Adel, Georgia the daughter of the late Pauline Register Hayes and Mallie L. Hayes and was the widow of Jessie Joiner. She was a member of Daystar Church of God and enjoyed worshipping with her church family. Mrs. Joiner loved cooking for them and playing with the grands and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Joiner is survived by her sons, J. Dewain Joiner (Kathy) of Fitzgerald, Danny Lamar Joiner (Rhonda) of Cochran, Randy Joiner (Cyndi) of Duluth, and Dale Joiner (Lori) of Eatonton; grandchildren, Justin Joiner (Jennifer), Brittany Lucas (Luke), Blake Joiner (Katie), and Jesse and Gracie Jean Joiner; great-grandchildren, Dawson and Miley Joiner and Maizie Pearl and Piper Lucas; sisters, Jenelle Story (JD) of Perry, Linda Carroll of Mulberry, FL and Elaine VanBrackle of Adel.
