Nancy Kersey Turner, age 72, of Eatonton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Burial will be private for family only in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 PM Monday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road and following the funeral service. Pastor Pete Mattix will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Lake Country Baptist Church, 1259 Crooked Creek Rd. NE, Eatonton 31024 or the donor's favorite charity.
Mrs. Turner was born June 24, 1949, the daughter of the late Albert Sapp and was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie D. Kersey. She was retried from Renaissance Plastic Surgery as their former office manager. Mrs. Turner was a member of Lake Country Baptist Church in Eatonton.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, Marshall Turner of Eatonton; daughters, Nannette Micken (David), Angela Kimberly (Mark), and Wendy McCook (Perry); grandchildren, Cortney Sharp, Kelsey McGarity, Hannah McCook, and Alexis McCook; mother, Vernetta U. Sapp; siblings, Bo Sapp (Janet), Bill Sapp, Bobby Sapp (Trena), Debbie Blanton (Rick); step-children, Lana Butaud (Joey), Kindell Martinez (Livan), and Marshall T. Turner (Ashley); numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road, has charge of arrangements.
