Nicholle Renee’ Adams Greene of Macon, Georgia went home to be with her Heavenly Father May 20th, 2018. She was the wife of Kenneth Lee Greene and mother to Sydney Renee’ and Abigail Lee Greene of Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of Richard Sidney Adams and Madrid Hayes Adams of Hazelhurst, Georgia and sister to Terry Lavender, Vicki Adams, and Rebecca Adams.
Man has yet to create the words to describe Nicki Greene. She was a woman of unwavering faith, unconditional love, and inspiring compassion. To all who knew her, her smile not only illuminated the room but every life that was blessed to call her friend. Nicki had an unexplainable magnetism that attracted all who were in her presence. Many were drawn to her vivacious personality and unrelenting whit that captivated a crowd or placed a smile on the face of someone during simple conversation.
Nicki accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young child and the Holy Spirit that lived in her was an exuding light no one could deny. Her insatiable desire for spiritual knowledge is one she practiced not only in her marriage but also in the raising of her children. She was not simply a member of Bethany Baptist Church but immersed herself in the inner workings of the church through teaching Sunday school and the decorating committee.
Decorating was a gift Nicki loved to share with the world whether it was decorating someone’s outside appearance through her occupation as a cosmetologist at Cottage Cuts or extravagantly decorating her home for Christmas for all to enjoy. Her passion lied within her creativity and her ability to craft something remarkable out of something perceived as ordinary. Above all, family was her greatest treasure.
Her 30-year marriage to Kenny Greene was one of the proudest achievements of her life. The spark that ignited in Macon, Georgia in 1987 when Kenny and Nicki met grew into an eternal flame of love, laughter, and memories that will forever impact and be cherished by family and friends.
She created a unique imprint on our hearts and the love carried for her will only grow.
To Nicki from all who love her, “We’ll see you when we get home.”
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in Juliette with Rev. Jimmy Corbitt and Rev. Clay Bowden officiating. Burial will be private at Union Springs Baptist Church in Hazelhurst.
